Our Story
ApaX Travels was founded to close the gap between glossy brochures and what a trip to Bhutan actually feels like on the ground. Too many travelers arrive with itineraries built by operators who have never walked the trails they sell.
We're a licensed, Thimphu, Bhutan-based operator — every itinerary is built, priced and guided in-house, with nothing outsourced to subcontractors you'll never meet. Our guides grew up in the valleys they walk you through, and our coordinators answer their own emails.
Bhutan limits tourism by design, favoring fewer visitors and deeper experiences over volume. We plan every trip inside that philosophy — which is, frankly, also just a better way to travel.
