Arrival in Paro

Arrive at Paro International Airport and transfer to your hotel. A gentle evening walk through Paro town eases you into the pace of the trip. Overnight: Hotel in Paro.

Hike to Tiger's Nest (Taktsang)

A full day devoted to the hike up to Taktsang Monastery, the cliffside Tiger's Nest, with a rest stop at the mid-way viewpoint café. Descend at an easy pace and return to Paro for the evening. Overnight: Hotel in Paro.

Paro → Thimphu

Drive to Thimphu and spend the afternoon at a quiet mountain temple for a short meditation session with a local monk, followed by an easy walk through the city center. Overnight: Hotel in Thimphu.

Thimphu → Punakha

Cross Dochula Pass, pausing at the 108 memorial chortens, then continue to Punakha to visit Chimi Lhakhang, the temple of fertility and folk wisdom, set amid rice terraces. Overnight: Hotel in Punakha.

Drive back to Paro and transfer to Paro International Airport for departure.
