Arrival in Paro

Arrive at Paro International Airport, meet your guide, and transfer to your hotel. Settle in and enjoy an easy evening walk through Paro town — riverside paths, cafés, and traditional shopfronts. Overnight: Hotel in Paro.

Paro → Thimphu

Drive to Thimphu, Bhutan's capital, and check in. Visit the Memorial Chorten and stroll through the textile and craft markets to get a feel for the city ahead of festival days. Overnight: Hotel in Thimphu.

Thimphu Tshechu

A full day at the Thimphu Tshechu, held in the courtyard of Tashichho Dzong. Watch the sacred masked dances (cham) performed by monks and laymen in vivid costume, with your guide on hand to explain the symbolism behind each dance. Overnight: Hotel in Thimphu.

Thimphu → Punakha

Drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass, pausing at the 108 memorial chortens for mountain views. Arrive in time for a sunrise-lit visit to Punakha Dzong at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. Overnight: Hotel/farmhouse in Punakha.

Punakha
